The man who killed the terrorist responsible for slaughtering eight young students at the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva on March 6, 2008 in Jerusalem will be honored Tuesday by a special military committee headed by IDF Brigadier-General Egai Yehezkel.
The citation which honors IDF Major David Shapira "for his bravery, determination and professionalism in the actions he took against the gunman," will be presented by the outgoing commanding officer of the IDF's Central Command, Major-General Gadi Shamni.
