Young Israeli fashion designers presented their winter line in a final exhibit this week that showcased their newest creations in Tel Aviv.
Dikla, 23, a new designer from Tzur Hadassah, commented that that it was "irritating to see" that in order to be a dress designer one must "show the woman naked." Dikla challenged secular designers "to design a beautiful piece in good taste, while keeping in mind the rules of modesty. But until any of them respond to the call, my friends, I intend to fill the void and design the dresses of tomorrow, without surrendering to the dictates of fashion-free clothing."
