Sirens are set to go off Monday in several locations in the north, at 11 AM and at 2 PM. The sirens are being tested to ensure they have the proper reach and operating capability in case they are needed for actual emergencies.

During the tests, the siren will sound with a rising and falling tone for a minute and a half. In the event that a real emergency occurs, the sirens will sound with a rising sound immediately thereafter.
