The head of the Lithuanian Haredi religious community, Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv Shlita, was evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital after suffering various aches and high fever.

Channel 2 reported that the rabbi's personal physician, who was summoned to his home, performed a series of tests, diagnosed pneumonia and ordered the rabbi be evacuated to a hospital.
