Industrialist Stef Wertheimer announced plans to build an industrial park near Nazareth and committed $12 million of his own funds to the project. Speaking Tuesday at the Galilee Conference in Kfar Blum, Wertheimer detailed the 14 dunam (3.5 acre) park and said it will be based on a similar one he founded in Tefen in Israel’s north.

He said that the new park is mainly intended to support Arab businesses, but all companies will be welcome. The Arab sector's first industrial park will also include a cultural center for Arab artists.
