Reconciliation was reached Monday evening in the Arab town of Abu-Gosh, west of Jerusalem, between the families of five-year-old Sa'ad Ibrahim and Hiria Otman, the nursery school owner who forgot the boy in her car a few days ago, leading to his death.

Otman was released from house arrest earlier in the day and banished from the town for fear that Ibrahim's family might take revenge, but family members told Ynet that they forgave her from the day following the incident, and had more criticism for budget cuts to local education.
