At the cabinet’s discussion on the Temple Mount on Monday, Internal Security Minister, Yitzhak Aharnovich, spoke about the arrest of Sheikh Raed Salah, "It was a positive action which sent a strong message to inciters against state institutions. Aharonovitch added that “there would be no compromise against agitators.”

The minister also praised police operations on the Temple Mount and said he would continue to back up every action it takes.
