Self-service grocery checkouts are coming to Israel: The Supersol supermarket chain will soon institute self-service checkouts in its stores, where customers will swipe products over bar code readers, tally up their totals, and pay by credit card, as is common in supermarkets in many places in the U.S. and Europe.
