Homesh Tehilla (Homesh First) activists celebrated Simchat Torah in the destroyed Jewish community of Homesh, in northern Samaria, complete with dancing with Torah scrolls. Homesh Tehilla activists who have been present at the site for over two years were joined with guests from around the country.

"There was feeling of elation," said one guest immediately at the end of the holiday, "It was a celebration with great joy and excitement in the air. Simchat Torah in a place like Homesh gives renewed strength for the coming year.”

The IDF forbids Jews from returning to Homesh.
