A Jerusalem court late Tuesday freed Islamic Movement head Raed Salah from his remand, but ordered him to stay out of Jerusalem for thirty days. The court refused to accept the police demand that Salah be restricted to his home town of Um el-Faham.
The court said that while it was "worthy" to arrest Salah, holding him might cause unrest. For the same reason, the court said, it would be preferable to release the Sheikh.
