Noam Shalit, father of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, will fly to France on Wednesday for a series of meetings with advisors to French President Nicholas Sarkozy, and will give interviews to French media. Shalit will return to Israel over the weekend. Gilad Shalit is a French citizen.
The elder Shalit told reporters Tuesday that he was "satisfied" with the release of the video of Gilad by Israeli media last Friday.
