Shas Knesset faction chairman Avraham Michaeli, on a visit to the Gush Katif Museum Tuesday, said that the 2005 disengagement, which saw some 10,000 Jews thrown out of their homes in Gush Katif and northern Samaria, was a "terrible mistake."
"It will take us a long time to understand the reason for the terrible mistakes that were made. G-d, who controls the world, will help us to understand the reasons, in order that we learn the lessons and make sure we do not make a similar mistake in the future," he told visitors to the Museum.
