The Temple Mount in Jerusalem will remain closed to Jews on Monday. Access was denied on Sunday for fear of violence erupting after Arabs were called on "to come and defend the mount."
Arab men over the age of 50 with blue identity cards will be allowed on the site, as well as Arab women of all ages. Police and Border police will deploy throughout the Old City and other parts of eastern Jerusalem to preserve order.
