Israel’s Supreme Court will discuss on Wednesday an appeal by SOS Israel to stop Israeli radio and television from censoring ads using the word ‘expulsion’ in commercials for the organization’s Gush Katif Museum. The Second Television Authority and Kol Yisrael radio have refused to play ads for the museum because they claim the word has “political” connotations.

The IDF expelled 8,000 Jews from their homes and destroyed the 15 Jewish communities of Gaza four years ago. Almost half of those expelled still lack permanent housing.
