Two Arabs who entered Israel illegally and held up a taxi driver were sentenced to prison for terms of 6.5 and 4 years respectively on Thursday. One of the Arabs was also convicted of two other robberies, and will likely be facing more time in prison.

The sentence was handed down by a Jerusalem court, which said that the robberies were "part of a long chain of serious crimes the culprits were a part of."
