The National Students Union sent a letter to the national students' organization in Spain, as well as to the European Students Union, condemning the Spanish government's decision to ban Ariel University from participating in an international architecture competition being held in Spain.
"Unfortunately, because of irrelevant political considerations, Ariel University was removed from the contest," the National Students Union letter said. "We condemn the damage thereby caused to academic freedom, and ask you to assist us to act against this worrying trend," the letter said.
