Terrorists planned to attack a bus full of Israeli tourists in the Sinai Peninsula two months ago, Israeli sources reported Wednesday. The attack failed due to a shortage in the bomb's wiring.

The attempt to bomb the bus took place as the bus passed the town of Nuweiba, en route from Taba to Sharm a-Sheikh. The tourists have since returned to Israel, and until Wednesday, remained unaware that their lives had at any point been in danger.
