Police say they will increase patrols on Har Hazeitim (the Mount of Olives) during the 'Ten Days of Penitence' between the Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Many people visit the graves of Jewish sages buried on the Mount during this period and Arab hooligans frequently intimidate Jewish visitors to the site.
