(IsraelNN.com) A memorial service will be held at 6 PM at the Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem for former Chief Rabbi and Mercaz HaRav Head, Avraham Shapira Z”l. Current Sephardic Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar will speak at the event as well as Rabbi Shapira’s son and current Head of Mercaz HaRav, Rabbi Shmuel Shapira.
