A protest demonstration has been called for 8:45 Sunday evening at the Doar Junction near Talmon the western Binyamin District of Samaria to protest the Israel Defense Force's destruction of a caravan at the Gilad Farm outpost Sunday afternoon. Three residents of the outpost were detained following clashes with soldiers and police, which resulted in one policemen suffering light injuries.
Yossi Dagan of the Samarian residents' association said that policemen and members of the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria - some of them not wearing identity tags - brutally beat people and damaged property. Residents told of Civil Administration personnel coordinating their stories and considering issuing a story about stabbing by the activists.
Organizers note that Sunday is September 13, the 16th anniversary of the signing of the Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, which led to the formation of the Palestinian Authority.
