Norway may consider accepting Palestinian Authority terrorists freed in a deal for the return of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit on condition they are exiled from Israel and any PA territory, according to a report Tuesday by the Chinese Xinhua news agency.

The report quoted sources that said a Norwegian official met last week in Gaza for talks with Hamas officials that focused on the number of terrorists that Israel would insist must be expelled to other countries.

Shalit was abducted on June 25, 2006 in a cross-border raid by a team of operatives from three Gaza-based Palestinian Authority terrorist groups. His condition and whereabouts remain unknown.
