(IsraelNN.com) Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt has reportedly cancelled his trip to Israel that was scheduled for September 11. The decision came due to Israel’s position regarding the Swedish visit. Prime Minister Netanyahu allegedly was leaning towards ignoring the Swedish FM while here in response to the failure of the Swedish government to condemn a libelous article claiming the IDF killed Arabs to harvest and sell their organs.

In a meeting with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana last week, Netanyahu said that no one was expecting the Swedish government to restrict freedom of the press, but that it was reasonable to expect the Swedish government to condemn the type of defamation that had led to the mass murder of Jews in the past.
