A spokesman for the Hamas terror group said that terror group leader Khaled Mashaal was in Cairo to discuss details of a deal that would see Israel free hundreds of terrorists in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

Mashaal is meeting with senior Egyptian officials, including Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman, who has been brokering talks on Shalit's release between Israel and Hamas.
