On a state visit to Kenya, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman visited a synagogue in Nairobi Saturday morning, and met with members of the local Jewish community. A statement from the Foreign Ministry said that Lieberman expressed his appreciation to the local community for helping to foster the warm relations between Israel and Kenya.
Lieberman told Jewish community members that his African trip was designed to reinforce relations between Israel and the countries of the continent, especially in economic areas.
