Dozens of Arabs set fire to wooden structures Friday morning in the month-old Nofei Yarden outpost, next to the Jewish community of Shevut Rachel in the Binyamin area north of Jerusalem. Two young women who were there at the time managed to escape, but the outpost was completely destroyed.
Following the arson attack, clashes broke out between Arabs and area Jews. One of the Jewish residents told the Hebrew-language Arutz-7 news site, "Arabs started throwing rocks and advancing toward us. The Israel Defense Forces on the scene are unable to gain control over the disturbance.
