El Al: Swine Flu Passengers to be Isolated from Others

El Al Airlines has decided to take a stricter approach towards passengers suspected of contracting swine flu. Beginning Wednesday, the Israeli air carrier will implement the International Air Transport Association (IATA) recommendations. The new policy forbids passengers afflicted with swine flu to board a flight unless they could present a doctor’s letter attesting that they are no longer ill.

According to the new policy, if a passenger is only identified as suffering from swine flu while in-flight, the flight attendants will isolate the passenger from others on board.
