The total number of Israeli deaths from the swine flu virus is up to 16 after two more died on Thursday afternoon. At Haifa's Rambam Hospital, a 66-year-old man suffering from other serious diseases passed away, while a 60-year-old woman with cancer succumbed to the disease abroad.
In counting them as Israel's 15th and 16th fatalities, the Health Ministry stressed that although the two were also suffering from another illness, the H1N1 virus could not be ruled out as the cause of death.
