Thirty artists and other personalities took part Sunday in the shooting of a video for the release of abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The clip will appear on commercial television stations and the new internet site being established by the Task Force for Shalit's release.

The website will also feature reports on activities for Shalit's release, such as protests and demonstrations, as well as updates on negotiations for his release. Shimon Liebman, the head of the task force, told Maariv/nrg, "Our goal is to create public protest and sign a million Israelis who will join 'the army of the friends of Gilad' to apply pressure on the government."

On Tuesday, activists will block visits to security prisoners in Israeli prisons. Two days later the Shalit family will host a protest in their Mitzpeh Hila home on the eve of Gilad's secular birthday of August 28th, with a birthday protest on Friday at the Shalvata cafe in the port of Tel Aviv.
