A post-mortem operation on 27-year-old Vered Basson, who died Sunday morning at Asaf Harofeh Hospital in Rishon Letzion was confirmed Sunday night as being related to complications from the H1N1 swine-flu virus. The hospital said that Basson was overweight and smoked, which put her at risk.
She was admitted with a severe case of pneumonia on Friday and was diagnosed as having the H1N1 virus.
