Jordan Jails Two for Plotting to Kill Israeli

A Jordanian military court sentenced two Arabs to 12 years in prison Wednesday for plotting to kill an Israeli. The two were looking to kill Jews in Jordan and targeted an Israeli businessman. Their plot was foiled by Jordanian police.

The two defendants, Loay Shehadah and Mohammed Odatallah, were initially sentenced to life in prison but were allowed to repent and their sentences were reduced. The verdicts cannot be appealed.
