A rash of drowning have struck Israel in the past couple of days. Three people died Wednesday on Israeli beaches and another has died on Thursday. A 20 year old yeshiva student from Bnei Brak drowned just a short while ago while swimming on Ashdod’s Miami Beach.

The haredi religious media has been flooded with warnings to be careful during the summer holidays, a period when many yeshiva students are on vacation and during which many accidents traditionally occur.
