Pharamaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline Israel reported Tuesday that its American parent company has responded to an order from the Health Ministry by shipping hundreds of thousands of doses of the Relenza drug for treating the H1N1 swine-flu virus and that the shipment is being stored at government warehouses. The drugs will be dispensed by the government if the outbreak gets worse.
The company stressed that the drug was only delivered to the government and is not available for purchase from pharmacies.
