The author and artist Amos Kenan, 82, died Tuesday evening. His most famous book, “The Way to Ein Harod” was made into a film. Kenan was also noted for his criticism of Israeli policy. He was a member of the radical Canaanites movement, which espoused ties to the Land of Israel yet divorced itself of Jewish religion and culture.
Two biographies of his life are expected to be published this year, one by his wife, and another by his daughter.
