Yisrael Beitienu MK David Rotem said Tuesday that there is not enough evidence to indict Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, despite the police’s claim to the contrary. Rotem said that State Prosecutor Menachem Mazuz will ultimately decide not to indict Lieberman.

Rotem also said that the Knesset must act to limit the amount of time public figures can be investigated by the police. “I know a famous lawyer who was investigated for 20 years and he died without any decision,” Rotem said. “This situation cannot continue.”
