A Brussels-based think tank report has revealed that a German-based charity for Lebanese orphans is actually a front organization that funds Hizbullah suicide bombers. "Hizbullah's Fundraising Organization in Germany" conducted by Alexander Ritzmann, senior fellow at the European Foundation for Democracy, said the Orphans Project Lebanon organization situated in Göttingen, Lower Saxony is "the German branch of a Hizbullah sub-organization" which "promotes suicide bombings" and seeks to destroy Israel.

According to Ritzmann's analysis on Hizbullah's Germany operations, "financial donations to the Orphans Project Lebanon are tax-deductible and are therefore subsidized by the German state."
