Homesh was one of four northern Samarian communities destroyed by the government three summers ago as part of the Disengagement program.
--Gaza terrorists broke the five-week-old temporary ceasefire and attacked the western Negev with five mortar shells. All of them exploded in open areas and caused no damages or injuries. The attacks were simultaneous with the evacuation of several wounded Fatah terrorists to Israel hospitals.
