Convicted 'AIPAC' Spy Accuses FBI of Anti-Semitism Reported: 13:20 PM - Jul/31/09
(IsraelNN.com) United States official Larry Franklin, who was convicted of passing classified information to senior members of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), has accused the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of anti-Semitism in his latest interview, given to the Washington Times. FBI officials refused to comment on the interview, adding that if Franklin wishes to make a formal complaint, he may do so. Former AIPAC staffer Steven Rosen, one of those charged in the case, backed Franklin's claims in an interview with the Jerusalem Post. “Within the counter-intelligence bureaucracy of the United States government, there is a virulent ideology about Israel and Jews,” he said. “What these guys believe is that there's a Jewish cabal, a Jewish conspiracy.” In the interview with the Times on Wednesday, Franklin revealed that he had actually been a double agent, asked by the FBI to gather information on AIPAC. His activities on behalf of the FBI included recording talks with AIPAC analysts Keith WeissmanWeissman and Israeli embassy official Naor Gilon. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
