Israel-based Aeronautics Defense Systems conducted a successful first test flight of new unmanned airplane, defense news websits Defense Update reported. The Dominator II Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial system is based on the Austrian Diamond DA-42 manned aircraft.
Israeli code name "Oz", the Dominator II tested well on a variety of sub-assemblies integrated into the system that convert it from a manned to unmanned platform.
