Opposition leader Tzipi Livni said Wednesday that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had gone too far with his plan to privatize state lands with the Lands Authority Reform law. The bill faces serious opposition also within the coalition and has yet to pass the Knesset.
“This story is not about bureaucracy,” Livni said. “The true story is that Bibi doesn’t know how to put a limit on the amount he wants to privatize. There is no reason to privatize these lands.”
