Hamas Demanding Release of Israeli Arab Terrorists

A report in an Arab newspaper Saturday said that Hamas was now demanding that, in addition to the thousand-plus terrorists from Gaza, Judea and Samaria that it wants in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, the group also wants 20 Israeli Arabs in jail for terrorist activities. According to the report in Al Quds al Arabi, Hamas wants Israel to release, among others, two terrorists who were sentenced to nine life sentences in prison for killing nine people in a terror attack on a bus in Meron seven years ago.

"They are all an inseparable part of the Palestinian national movement in prison," a Hamas spokesman told the paper.
