The hareidi-religious woman accused of starving her three-year-old son will continue to be held under house arrest, following a remand hearing late Monday afternoon. It was also determined that the woman would undergo a psychiatric evaluation in the next 24 hours, after her failure to do so on Sunday, under the terms of her release to house arrest last Friday.

Attorneys for the woman said she had no objection to the examination. The psychiatrist who came to the house of the rabbi where the woman is serving the house arrest postponed the examination because the woman did not feel well.
