The cabinet on Sunday confirmed a measure aimed at encouraging the employment of mothers of children aged up to five-years-old. A budget supplement for various kinds of child care was also approved.
The decision was made as a step to complete last Monday's Knesset decision to amend an income-tax rule granting negative income tax to mothers of children up to the age of two years old.
