Bedouins to Protest Dromi's Release Reported: 00:41 AM - Jul/19/09
(IsraelNN.com) Israeli Bedouins in the south have organized a protest against the release of Negev farmer Shai Dromi. The protest is to take place Sunday opposite the Be'er Sheva District Court, and several hundred Bedouins from the Negev are expected to participate. Dromi was found innocent in the death of Khaled al-Atrash, a Bedouin resident of the Negev. Atrash and a group of other Bedouin men broke into Dromi's farm at night; Dromi felt threatened and opened fire, hitting Atrash in the leg and killing him. A court ruled last week that Dromi acted in self defense. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
