For the first time since the Tel-Aviv District Police division was established in 1948, a female commander has been appointed as station chief. Israel Hayom reported that the 39 year old Segal bar Tzvi was inducted in a ceremony on Wednesday as the new commander of the south Tel-Aviv police district office.

Prior to this position, bar Tzvi was the director of the traffic bureau in Samaria.
