The Palestinian Authority announced Wednesday it would close down Al-Jazeera’s offices in its jurisdiction.
The PA is protesting the fact that Al-Jazeera broadcasted Farouk al-Kaddoumi’s claims on Tuesday that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas was involved in the murder of Yasser Arafat.
