The Forum of Jewish legal Monetary courts blessed the Be’er Sheva court decision earlier Wednesday which exonerated farmer Shai Dromi for killing a Bedouin thief who infiltrated his property. The Forum explained that the ruling is in accordance with Jewish law as well.
According to the Torah, a thief who breaks into someone’s house is considered a potential murderer, and if the owner of the house kills him he is not liable.
