New Buildings Offer Roof-Top Tennis Courts

Capital Group announced it would be building new residential high-rises which incorporate sports facilities for residents, according to Globes. The buildings will have 27 floors, with three dedicated to residents' communal use including a lobby, squash court, basketball court, and fitness room.

A key feature of the buildings is a roof-top tennis court on the roof which utilizes a municipal requirement that roofs include space for a helipad for evacuations in the event of a fire. The developer said it plans to build a line of similarly designed buildings in central Israel that will be marketed to buyer groups. The first high-rise with 84 apartments in Ramat Gan has already been sold out.
