The Hevron Kollel announced that it will be expanding its hours to support night time Torah study for 20 students due to financial support from philanthropist Mouli Cohen.
Established in 2002, the Kollel students all live in the Hevron community. "I am proud to be part of the Kollel's new initiatives. The direct relation between our contributions and ability to expand the study of the Torah is an extremely worthwhile and fulfilling result," said Mouli.
Mr. Cohen has a history of supporting Jewish causes, including the building of a Jewish Orphanage in Odessa, Ukraine and funding a mivkeh (ritual bath) in Dresden, Germany. "I invite anyone visiting the city of Hebron to stop by to visit the Kollel and take a few minutes to join the students in their studies. The additional hours will allow us to host many more visitors," said Kollel director Rabbi Danny Cohen.
