Leaders of communities in Judea and Samaria fear that the IDF and police will attempt to remove families living in several outposts this week. The Samaria Residents Council sent out special notifications to leaders of the outposts Saturday night, warning them to take extra precautions and pay attention to troop and police movements in their areas.

In a statement, the Council said that "since the establishment of the current government, which its voters were sure would act as a nationalistic government, there has not been one improvement in the field. In the 100 days since the government was formed, not only have their been no new housing stats authorized, but there has been no progress on existing projects," the statement said.

On Friday, the Gush Etzion-Kiryat Arba Action Committees said that Rabbi Dov Lior, Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Arba Hevron, had ruled that it is permissible to use a telephone or other communication device on Shabbat to report IDF troop movements that may indicate an attempt to remove an outpost. "May we never need to come to that point," the group said in a statement.
