IDF troops on Saturday discovered in a car driven by an Arab a knife, eleven centimeters in length. The car was stopped outside an Arab village south of Hevron. Soldiers confiscated the knife and the Arab was taken in for questioning.
Earlier, troops patrolling in the area of Kalkilyeh discovered a pipe bomb next to the security fence, near the village of Jayus. Bomb-detonation experts were called in to remove the device.
There were several reports of rock throwing by Arabs on Friday afternoon, including that of a Dan bus that was stoned by Arabs south of Shechem. Some damage was reported to the bus but there were no injuries. Earlier, several cars were also stoned by Arabs in the area.
